Chroma ATE Inc. won the Distinguished Enterprise Innovation Award, the highest honor available from the 5th National Industrial Innovation Award. After four months of rigorous assessment, 38 winning units were selected out of 251 registered applications, and the Distinguished Enterprise Innovation Award (for Enterprise Group) was granted to Chroma ATE Inc. as the leader for innovative business model in Taiwanese industry.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs holds the "National Industrial Innovation Award" with "innovation" as its main axis to encourage Taiwan's industries to take full advantage of the existing competitiveness to consolidate industrial innovation and contributions generated from the technologies, services, and diverse cultures of the applicants. Nomination of this award is focused on the added-values created for better future life through innovative designs and information technology. The 5th National Industrial Innovation Awards Ceremony will be held in late February 2017 for public recognition of the winner, and a series of the proliferation activities are expected to start in March.
