The Chroma 17070 Battery Charge/Discharge Cycle Test System is a specialized solution developed for secondary energy storage components such as lithium-ion battery (LIB) cells. It is ideally suited for quality verification, batch sorting, and life-cycle testing.

The 17070 uniformly adopts regenerative power modules, delivering meaningful energy savings by recovering energy during extended cycling processes.

In addition to integrating cell voltage and temperature, the system can also use measured parameters for programmable calculations—enabling intelligent cutoff criteria and protection conditions for safer, more controlled test execution.

For environmental testing, the 17070 supports control of explosion-proof constant-temperature and constant-humidity chambers from various manufacturers, expandable to control multiple chambers with a single system. Advanced command capabilities include synchronized operation and independent adjustment of secondary temperature for extra convenience.

A17070000 Calibration & Verification Module (Optional)

The Chroma A1707000 is an automated calibration and verification solution integrating multiple high-precision reference standards. It supports programmable scheduling for single-channel calibration tasks. This option is compatible with any 17070 power module model and helps maintain long-term accuracy and data traceability as part of the cycling test workflow.

Calibration Report

A standalone 17070 power unit can be delivered with a national-lab-grade calibration report and certification label prior to shipment. With the certification label and calibration/verification report, customers may apply for government energy-efficiency subsidy programs where applicable. When audits are required, Chroma can also provide corresponding calibration/verification services to support smooth on-site audit completion.

Customer Results

The customer had previously deployed multiple Chroma 17010 series systems for early-stage R&D validation. As demand accelerated, the customer needed to scale up production capacity while maintaining strict quality control, and requested a proposal from Chroma.
