Power Rack is an integrated power solution within server racks, supplying electricity to all equipment. It consists of multiple Power Shelves connected in parallel, delivering high power outputs reaching hundreds of kilowatts. The architecture includes Power Distribution Units (PDUs), BBU Shelves, distribution boxes, and monitoring equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and stable power delivery for data centers and servers.

Given the high power capacity of server Power Racks, a comprehensive evaluation of the test laboratory requirements is essential. Chroma Server Power Rack Testing

High-Power AI Server Rack Testing up to 1.44MW

Chroma's 63200A Series DC Electronic Loads feature multi-unit synchronized dynamic current loading capabilities to accurately simulate server power operation. With the addition of synchronized signal boxes, up to 60 load units can be controlled simultaneously, enabling testing power levels up to 1.44MW. The system ensures dynamic synchronization timing error of less than 2 microseconds, providing precise and reliable test performance.

Energy Recovery to Reduce Energy Consumption

For long-duration burn-in testing, the Chroma 63700 Regenerative DC Electronic Load can be configured to feed energy consumed during testing back into the facility's power grid for reuse. With a feedback efficiency of up to 93%, this solution effectively reduces energy waste and lowers electricity costs.
